Handyman Cost in Miami: Hourly, Half Day or Full Day
Short answer: at Handyman Gold Hands a handyman costs $100 per hour with a 2-hour minimum ($200). If your list is long, a Half Day (4 hours) is $399 and a Full Day (8 hours) is $749. Pick by how many hours of work you have, not by the number of tasks.
Which option is cheapest?
| Your list | Best option | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1 small job (a shelf, a faucet, a door handle) | Hourly | $200 (2-hour minimum) |
| Up to 3 hours of work | Hourly | $200–$300 |
| About 4 hours in one visit | Half Day | $399 (one dollar less than 4 × $100) |
| 5 to 7 hours | Hourly | $500–$700 (cheaper than a Full Day) |
| A full 8-hour day | Full Day | $749 (51 dollars less than 8 × $100) |
| 10 or 20 hours over several visits | Hourly | $100 per hour, used when it suits you |
Rule of thumb: three to five small jobs (a TV mount, shelves, a door, a faucet, a light fixture) fit a half day. A new-home setup or a list of eight or more tasks is a full day, and it costs less than two half days.
What the price includes
- One professional handyman, with standard hand tools and clean-up of the work area afterwards.
- Assembly, mounting, minor repairs and basic installations, approved with you before the visit.
- Fully insured work. We are insured and bonded.
What is extra
- Materials and parts, such as brackets, anchors, paint or a new faucet. You can buy them yourself, or we can buy them for you.
- A 5% card processing fee when you pay online. There is no sales tax added on top.
- Work that needs a licensed trade or a permit (for example, new electrical circuits or plumbing that needs a permit). Those jobs are not included in the hourly, Half Day or Full Day price, and we tell you up front when a job is in that category.
How to get an exact number before you book
Text a photo of the job and a short description to (786) 788-8714. For common tasks we reply with a fixed price, and you approve it before the visit is booked.
You can also reserve a slot yourself: choose hours on the booking page, or see the full Half Day and Full Day details on the one-price page.
Common Miami jobs and how long they usually take
Time depends on the wall, access and the size of the job. A condo with a concrete wall takes longer to drill than a drywall room, and parking or building rules can add time. That is why we ask for photos first. For wall repairs see our drywall repair page, and for a full picture of what we do in the city see handyman services in Miami.
FAQ
Is a half day cheaper than hourly? Only slightly: $399 against $400 for four hours. Its real value is that the price is fixed and the time is reserved for you.
Can I book several days in a row? Yes, up to five days on the Full Day option. The same handyman comes back each day, and the price is the day rate times the number of days.
Who comes if no technician is based near my ZIP code? Our dispatcher assigns one and confirms the details with you before the visit. The prices on this page are for labor.
