A Miami handyman company, not a lead service

Farrukh Rakhimov started Gold Hands in Miami in 2023, and Miami is still our headquarters and the city where we have the most technicians. On Google we are listed as Gold Hands Miami — the same company, Rakhimov Enterprise LLC, DBA Gold Hands.

Many Miami visits are a list: a TV to mount, a ceiling fan to swap, a door that stopped latching after the rainy season, a patch where the plumber opened the wall. One technician brings the tools for the whole list, and you pay by the hour or a flat Half Day or Full Day instead of one company per task.

Customers rate us 4.9 on Thumbtack (216 reviews) and 4.7 on Google (34 reviews). Read them on our Thumbtack profile before you book.

What Miami homes and condos actually need

Concrete walls

Most South Florida houses are concrete block with stucco outside, and condo towers are concrete between units. A TV, a mirror or a floating shelf on those walls needs masonry bits and concrete anchors, not drywall toggles. Interior partitions are usually drywall over wood or metal studs, and we find the studs before anything heavy goes up.

Humidity and AC leaks

Air conditioning runs most of the year here, and a clogged condensate line is one of the most common reasons a ceiling stains or a wall goes soft. An HVAC technician clears the line; we replace the wet drywall, match the texture and prime. See drywall repair in Miami.

Salt air near the beach

From Miami Beach to Sunny Isles, salt air eats door hardware, hinges and outdoor light fixtures years before they would wear out inland. We replace them, and on the ocean side we suggest stainless or coated hardware that lasts longer.

Condo rules

Buildings set work hours, ask for a certificate of insurance and sometimes an elevator booking. We send the COI naming your association, usually the same day, and schedule inside the building's hours.

Before hurricane season

Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. Spring is the time for the small things that matter in a storm: exterior doors that latch and seal, worn weatherstripping, cracked caulk around windows and tubs, loose railings.

Handyman in Miami — FAQ

How fast can a handyman come out in Miami?

Miami is our headquarters, so this is where we have the most technicians and the fastest response. Same-day visits are often available when you book before early afternoon. Online booking shows the real open times and puts the visit straight into the technician's calendar; dispatch answers calls and texts 7 days a week.

Do you work in Miami condo buildings?

Yes. Many Miami condo associations want a certificate of insurance naming the association before a vendor goes upstairs. Send us the building name and the management office email and we send the COI, usually the same day. Tell us the building's work hours and elevator rules too, and we book the visit inside them.

Can you mount a TV on a concrete wall?

Yes. Most South Florida houses have concrete-block exterior walls, and condo towers have concrete walls and ceilings between units. We drill with masonry bits and use concrete anchors rated for the mount; on drywall partitions we mount into the studs. Cables cannot be run inside solid concrete, so on those walls we hide them in a paintable raceway. More on TV mounting in Miami.

How do I get a price?

Text a photo and a short description to +1 (786) 788-8714 or use the form on this page. Common tasks have fixed prices; everything else is $100/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Estimates are given by phone or from photos, and you approve the price before the visit is booked.

Do you do bathroom and kitchen remodels in Miami?

Yes. Bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling and tile installation in Miami and South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties) are done by our painting & renovation team at goldhandsmia.com: bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling and tile installation. Work that needs a permit — moving plumbing or electrical, layout or structural changes — is permitted and performed under our Florida-licensed general contractor partner.

Are you insured? Do you hold a contractor license?

Handyman Gold Hands is insured and bonded, with general liability insurance. We do not hold a state contractor license, so licensed trades — HVAC, roofing, electrical panels, new circuits, main plumbing lines — are referred to the right licensed professional, and we tell you before we quote.
