Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The TV was taken out of the box.
- The mount brackets were attached to the back of the TV.
- The wall plate was fixed and leveled.
- The TV was lifted onto the plate.
Big screens are lifted by two people or hung with the TV face down on a soft surface first; the panel is the part that breaks. Keeping the box and the stand until the mount is on is a good habit; they are needed if the TV has to go back for any reason.

With a list of tasks you can book time instead of one job: Hourly Handyman at $100 per hour (2-hour minimum), a Half Day of up to 4 hours for $399 or a Full Day of up to 8 hours for $749 (Half Day and Full Day).
