An older pedestal sink with a three-hole faucet in a small tiled bathroom was swapped for a new pedestal sink with a single-handle faucet in matte black.

The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The old basin, pedestal and faucet came out of the corner under the black wall shelf.
- A new white pedestal and basin were set in the same spot, on the hexagon tile floor.
- A single-handle black faucet went on the new basin, matching the shelf above it.
- The toiletries and the bin that crowded the old sink were cleared from the floor for the after shot.
A pedestal sink hides almost nothing, so the supply lines and the drain have to be neat: they stay visible from the side for as long as the sink is there.
