The job
Stone tiles along the side of a house were dark with grime, a pressure washer and hose on them. The after photo shows the same tiles clean and lighter.
Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The area was cleared of loose items.
- The tiles were pressure washed in sections.
- The grime was rinsed off toward the garden.
- The surface was left to dry.
Too much pressure damages soft stone and the joints between tiles, so the nozzle and the setting are chosen for the surface. Water and dirt from the washing are rinsed away from the house, so nothing is pushed under the doors or into the walls.
