Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The box was opened and the stand parts laid out.
- The side panels, the back board and the pedal unit were assembled.
- The keyboard was lifted onto the stand and fixed.
- The pedal cable and the power cable were connected.
The keyboard section is the heavy part and goes on last, with two people, once the stand is square. Once assembled, the piano is placed away from a sunny window and an air vent, which is better for the keys and the finish.
