Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The parts were unpacked and the packaging collected.
- The legs and the apron were joined.
- The top was fixed to the base.
- The table was carried into the kitchen and leveled.
Tables with an apron are tightened in stages so the top does not end up twisted. Heavy tops are fixed to the base with the table upside down on a blanket, then turned over by two people so the joints are not strained.
