The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The old drain was taken apart.
- A new basket strainer was set in the sink.
- New drain pipes and a P-trap were fitted.
- The water was run to check every joint for leaks.
Tape on a drain is a sign the joint needs to be replaced, not wrapped again. A slow drip under a sink often goes unnoticed for weeks, and the cabinet floor is the first thing it ruins.
