Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The filter unit was placed inside the cabinet, clear of the drain.
- Its inlet was connected to the cold water supply.
- A separate tap was mounted at the sink and fed from the filter.
- The tap was run to flush the filter and check the flow.
Filter units need room for cartridge changes, so they go where the cartridges can be reached without emptying the cabinet. Systems that need a new hole in a stone counter are quoted separately.
