Gold Hands keeps short-term rentals guest-ready: between-guest repair calls, turnover punch lists, lock and smart-lock fixes, TV, furniture and fixture repairs from wear, and pre-check-in walkthroughs. Where a technician is based nearby, turnover calls booked in the morning are prioritized for the same day, and hosts with several units can set up a recurring arrangement instead of booking from scratch each time.

How it works

  1. Send the issue and your window. Text a photo of the problem with the checkout and next check-in times.
  2. Confirmed slot. The dispatcher confirms a technician inside the turnover window, or tells you straight away if it will not fit.
  3. Fix and photo report. The technician fixes it and sends photos of the finished work so you can see it before the guest does.
  4. Recurring plan. For several units, we set up standing visits and a running punch list priced directly with you.

Single calls $100/hr (2-hour minimum); turnover lists as a flat Half Day ($399) or Full Day ($749); recurring multi-unit plans priced with you.

Do you work with property managers who run many units?

Yes. Multi-unit hosts and managers can set up a recurring arrangement: standing visits, a running punch list and one point of contact, priced directly with you.

Can you do a walkthrough before a guest checks in?

Yes. A quick pass between checkout and the next check-in catches loose fixtures, slow drains, dead smart-lock batteries and wall scuffs before they turn into a review.

How do you charge for rental maintenance?

Single calls are general handyman work at $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum; longer turnover lists can be booked as a flat Half Day ($399) or Full Day ($749). Recurring multi-unit plans are priced directly with you.

What if the problem needs a licensed trade?

We tell you right away and refer it to the right trade — major appliance repair, permitted plumbing or electrical — instead of patching something we should not be fixing.
