Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The fixtures around the tub were disconnected.
- The tub was pulled out of its spot.
- The debris was taken away.
- The space was left clear for the next step of the renovation.
Removing a tub is demolition only. Any new plumbing that needs a permit goes to a licensed plumber, and we say so before the job starts. The drain and supply openings left behind are capped so nothing falls in until the next trade arrives.
