- The floor and the baseboard were protected.
- The corners and the edge along the ceiling were cut in by brush.
- The wall was rolled in the new color.
- The edges were checked against the neighboring walls.
A deep color over a light one usually takes two coats; the corner lines are what make an accent wall look intentional. Painting one wall is also a quick way to try a color before committing to a whole room.
