- The door surface was cleaned and sanded.
- The door was painted dark brown.
- The masking came off once the paint had set.
Exterior doors need exterior paint made for sun and rain; interior paint fades and peels outside. The paint on the edges and the bottom of the door matters as much as the face, because that is where moisture gets into the wood.
