A plain white wall with slat panels leaning against it was turned into a wood slat feature wall with vertical LED light strips and two framed prints.
Typical steps for this job
The photos show the start and the finish; these are the usual steps in between:
- The slat panels were measured against the wall and cut to height.
- They were fixed to the wall edge to edge, keeping the slats vertical.
- Vertical LED strips were set between the slats.
- Two framed prints were hung over the finished wall.
Slat panels show every bit of drift, so the first panel is set against a level line rather than against the corner. The LED power supply needs an outlet close to the wall, which is planned before the first panel goes up.

With a list of tasks you can book time instead of one job: Hourly Handyman at $100 per hour (2-hour minimum), a Half Day of up to 4 hours for $399 or a Full Day of up to 8 hours for $749 (Half Day and Full Day).
